Upgrading Technology

The Upgrading Technology (Upgrading Technology) entrance to oilfield projects provides strategic environmental solutions, as this technology is a very vital industrial requirement for the next 20 years. After analysing the feed (Heavy Crude Oil, Waste Hydrocarbons, Slope Oil, Sludge, Residues, Pit oil, Petcoke or any and all type of waste oil and hydrocarbon feed) and studying the relative proportions of the original composition of the feed (PONA+S) which are the main components that make up the hydrocarbon (Paraffin, Olefin, Aromatics, Naphthene, Asphaltene, Waxes, Sulfur).

The technology unit associated equipment are designed such as pre-heating, filtering, scraping or separating devices, a boiler unit and heat calibrators. Operating pressure, chemical additives and catalysts injection devices, automation and control system, as well as filtration units. Which are designed according to the results of the analysis and provides specialized solutions for each project according to the nature of the project.

APPLICATION 1

Heavy Crude Oil to Light Crude Oil Treatment and Conversion 

The Upgrading Technology for converting the Heavy Crude Oil, the Extra Heavy Crude Oil and Fuel Oil to Light Crude Oil results in increasing the Value of Oil, and today the improvement operations of Heavy Oil and converting of Oil Residues from refineries such as Fuel Oil, Heavy Fuel Oil, Diesel and Base Oil has become a fast-growing industrial demand in the Petroleum exploration and production sectors, which will challenge this industry for the coming 15 years. The Technology adopts physical processes through frequencies that generate from a high efficiency pump that is designed especially for the breaking of the long Hydrocarbon bonds in low temperatures, and with the low consumption of energy. It is also used to transform the Residues into high quality products, which it is a highly complex process, that will result in obtaining instant operational results, by breaking the Hydrocarbon long chains into very small chains with infinite size (that reaches sometimes the size of Nanometer). The sulfur content is also reduced by percentages that may reach (90%) approximately. All of which result in increasing the value of Heavy Oil while preserving the environment. These improvement processes has wide range and include all the primary oil verities that effect the price and the quality such as reducing the density, reducing viscosity, and increasing the API number and the light contents.

This technology depends on the speed, the type of metal used, the design and the type of pressure pump related to the Upgrading technology. With the same technology also, we perform Treatments after Production in Oil Refineries to adjust the main parameters, such as: density, viscosity, flash point, pour point, cetane index and sulfur contents. We can also offer effective solutions to the Production and Deriving Sectors in Oil Fields, where this Unique Technology (Upgrading) can break the bonds of Waxes and Paraffins rings and also reduce the viscosity, which helps in the pressurizing process without the need for any chemical additives. Our upgrading units consist of 20‘ Ft. And 40‘ Ft. Capacity Containers, that work in many Refineries in the Middle East with capacities of (20 m3/hr, 40 m3/hr, and 90 m3/hr) according to the size of the project.

Treatment And Converting of all Types of Waste Hydrocarbons to High Value Light Cuts, High Quality Diesel, Base Oil and Solvents

The process of extraction of crude oil and subsequent transfers and refining leads to oil spills that adversely affect the environment in general and surface water resources and groundwater and eliminate natural life and limit the areas able to be cultivated and herding and other human activities. Despite the economic damage incurred by the State, whether as a result of oil spills or otherwise, traditional methods do not resolve the basic problem, such as costs to cover areas spilled with sand transferred from other sites or burning oil lakes spilled or transported and stored in special tanks, and these solutions extremely harmful to the environment in general and cost huge sums of money to find useless, temporary solutions. And due to that, CDT UPGRADING Technology provides environment advanced solution with economic feasibility and positive returns to protect the environment from pollution resulting from oil spills and wastes.

It can convert approximately 80% - 90% or more from the waste hydrocarbon to high value by product like high quality diesel, Base Oil and Solvents, while the sulfur content can be reduced to by 90%. Produced diesel is processed in the final stage by different methods and applications in order to obtain high-quality diesel and base oil. The unit design of all parts of the process such as the furnace, distillation tower, heat exchanger, cooling systems and filtration units, together with the above, contributes in producing the higher possible percentage of High-quality diesel, Base Oil with standard specifications and Solvents.

Technical Benefits: Yield up to 80-90%. Cracking reaction without using Hydrogen Gas. Cracking reaction at atmospheric pressure. Cracking reaction at low to moderate temperature. Quick cracking reaction. The remaining 10% of the yield, Cracking reaction with optional by-products: high quality bitumen or high quality Petcoke. Simple operation with low-cost consumable catalyst. Reduction of Sulfur content by 80-83%. Euro5 diesel (10ppm) can be produced with further processing. Tail Gases can be used for energy requirement of the processes. The Technology operates with ZDL and low emission.

Integrated Environmentally Friendly Multi- Solutions

1. Provides an environmentally friendly solutions by recycling of all types of wastes from all sources of (oil spills, slopes, oily wastes, wells and pit waste oils, sludge tanks, refinery wastes, and oily wastes) from the environment and transforming them into high quality and high profit value, which makes the environment protection profitable.

2. The ability to process any type of heavy and very heavy crude oil and convert it into light crude oil and lift the API to the required level, by increasing the production of light bits resulting from distillation operations (increasing production and profits ratios) for high-value products.

5. (Pour Point and cloud point) treatment, which is one of the most common problems in crude oil and oil hardships, and provides (Dewaxing solutions) to break the bonds of wax and ring paraffin.

6. Extensive environmental solutions for bunker fuel to improve engine efficiency, ensure safety, save energy and reduce annual maintenance costs.

7. Desulfurization of diesel and converting it to the European Standard EURO 5, 10ppm as well as from light derivatives.

8. Converting kerosene to white spirit and super diesel.

9. Mixing emulsion fuel with water by up to 45% (water in fuel). The emulsifier is used for all kinds of burners, cement factories, thermal stations, generators, and with a high thermal energy
